You all should know by now how I love my samples. This one actually kinda hurts, but long story short, my chips are boxes up and I don't really have anything I could put up for auction, so I can only put up super recent purchases. But enough sad talk! These are some SICK samples. I'm not the most knowledgeable or have the biggest bankroll, but I hunt for samples and haven't really seen most of these come up since joining. Since I wouldn't have any reference without this, I paid upwards of $80 for some of these samples (and yes sometimes I overpay so what do I know).
It seems like a lot of chippers have had great years, and some not so great. 50% of this auction is going to help out towards our brother who ran afoul of some pretty rough luck (other half is going to help out a local cause in my old neighborhood, local kids fundraising for St V's Stress Center(suicide prevention) in Indiana if it matters). This is kind of a drop in the bucket at this point, but every bit helps and if it were me I'd hope to see some help from our community, even if it's mostly gestures. I'm not providing additional info, just know that it really does super suck beyond just poker, and I honestly couldn't imagine if it was me. This literally could just as easily be you or I.
YOU ARE BIDDING FOR ONE SAMPLE OF YOUR CHOICE. TOP TWO BIDS AT CLOSE OF AUCTION FOLLOWING THE 5 MINUTE RULE WILL EACH GET TO SELECT A SAMPLE, WITH TOP BID GOING FIRST. (I know what I'd be after!)
The $100 chip has a bump on one side, I'm guessing from a cigarette burn? (see photos) Still extremely rare/expensive chip.
