After much consternation, I have concluded I am not happy with my existing T100, so I am going to include a new one in my upcoming add-on, and I have decided I want a simple black and canary. I have narrowed it down to 3 options.

So the question before you is which do you think flows best with the rest of the (already existing, please don't torture me with suggestions for changes to other chips) lineup?

A:

B:

C:

Of the options available, C. But I’d use DG yellow instead of Canary.

also for those unaware, i suppose i should have shown the existing lineup i am looking to change:

i was originally paying tribute to my custom TRKs with the T100, but ever since i've had them in hand, it just isn't working in this set. i considered changing the butterscotch to another color, but the dual-colored edgespots on the T100 is not sitting well with me in any configuration. and i just can't get the simplicity of the WSOP black and yellow (can't remember which specific set it is) out of my head.

C from me, though the 618 is very nice too.
What did your current hundo look like?

You beat me to it; you posted as I was typing. Now I see.
I change my vote to A.
You have to exorcise the desing you didn't like.

well i was leaning towards A myself, but i also didn't realize 618 was going to cost 78% more per chip than 3DS316!

i think my wallet is going to end up having the deciding vote.

1 for me! Spot progression looks good. The other options are too close imo to what you already have with the current lineup, esp. option 3.

well, i let my wallet decide and put in the order for option C...

...then less than a week later, i still could not get how much i prefer option A out of my head, decided to say f it, changed the order and sent more funds.

option A wins the day!

I voted A, then I read the thread.

Now I vote to keep your existing chip.

thanks guys, but the money is already gone - option A is showing up here regardless.

I fail to see the problem with your existing lineup.

But if progression is your thing, then I'd rather see a 3-spot pattern for your lower denoms then a 6-spot pattern for your higher denoms, so C.

i'm fine with the existing progression, as i put a lot of thought into it, i just don't love the T100. i thought i would like the butterscotch/canary combo on black but it just isn't working for me visually. if i had gone all canary, i wouldn't be changing anything. but now that i am, i just prefer the 618 and still think it works well in the progression. it complements the T1000 nicely IMO.

but hey, i already placed the order so if you like my current T100s, they will likely be available for sale sometime later this year and are super easy to murder ;)

I got my own black base T100K chip with 614 spots in the queue....

T100K damn lol. i was toying around with adding a barrel of a new T25k just for the hell of it since i had an order going anyway, but they will never get in play so i held back. are you playing a set with a base T500 or T1000 or something?

T5K base. A full set that's a tribute to the Casino Royale movie/book. So I can recreate the single table T10MM tourney (1000BB deep). Custom 500K, 1MM, and non-canon 5MM plaques.

So you're saying your original T100 wasn't.. good 'nuf?

I can't believe we made it almost two months without some idiot from Northern Europe making this joke. Somebody must've dreamt it up, but thought better of it. Not this guy.

some idiot from Northern Europe making this joke

is good'nuf some running joke in northern europe? it was the name of my irish/scottish grandfather's cottage, but i don't really know where he got it from - never thought much about it, the name was just always in my life.

Not at all! This phrase was meant as a self-derogatory reference to this classic Phil Hellmuth clip, and my own Northern European heritage.

Cool story about the Good Nuf name origin though!
