Can anyone with a Gorilla Gaming poker table let me know if changing the felt is as easy as a "standard" build? I'm assuming a few bolts to remove the rail and some staples/adhesive to worry about on the swap?

Good Morning,

Just remove the bolts, that will allow you to remove the rail and once the rail is off you will see the staples to remove.
No adhesive to worry about if you are just removing the felt, which I expect you to as our foams should last many, many, years!

Thanks for this info! Is there anything additional to do if I have the lighted rail option as well? (Illuminati shape)

That was built like a fast change felt so you don't have to mess with the electronics to just change a felt.
That has 8 inner bolts to unscrew and once you take those out, you can take out the insert.

Once you take out the insert you will see where we stapled your layout.
You just need to take out the staples to add your new felt.

We recommend starting in a cross pattern to make sure it is straight and pull decently tight 20-30 lbs is enough strength.
Two at the 90 degrees and then an extra cross at 45 degrees.. that should keep it straight.
Then just fill in the blanks pulling tight as you staple.

We router a groove in the side so your staples do not damage the outer ring it sits in and the insert fits nice and flush to the table.
(these tables were built with casinos in mind, so changing the felt is an often occurrence).

Email us as well with any q's for fastest response time!

The above is very helpful. In examining theconstruction (including the underside) of my Illuminati table, it, indeed looked like the felt was a drop in insert, but I wasn’t 100% sure...

My felt is still in very good shape, but I might call to order a roll of the same design to store when the day comes that it needs refreshing.

This design feature makes a lot of sense—to be able to change the felt without disassembling the entire rail, lights, etc.
