CCA Convention - Las Vegas 2021 (1 Viewer)

School doesn't get out till the 19th this year thanks to a 3 week delay due to Covid therfore I'm out, but if anyone finds any Bellagio 5s (1998 ed.) and above I'm your huckleberry. I'm trying to work out a trip there a few days afterwards starting the 21st so if people are staying afterwards and making plans keep me looped in.
I will keep a look out

I have some decent comps from the Aria for that weekend so I might be able to make this :)

Haven't been to Vegas for a few years, so looking at hotels now.

LMFAO at Excalibur reviews. They're cheap but they get eviscerated on TripAdvisor.

My head hurts from the freaking resort fees. Now I remember why I haven't been to LV in a while. I can stay at hundreds of casinos around the country and not have to pay an extra $40/night on top of the normal room rate.

We stayed there last October for 4 days. When we go back to Vegas it won’t be there.

We are staying at Southpoint. @ekricket called and the rate for chip convention attendees includes a reduced resort fee - only $14 per day. Plus he checked on AARP / AAA rates, and he ended up with some combination that was decent.

Never stayed at the Flamingo before. Price was definitely right ;)

We would like at least one PCF tournament or cash game get together while we are there. Unfortunately we are only there two nights, as we have a conflict starting on the 19th, and need to fly out on the 18th. I don’t think our room will be set up to host though.

I did look at South Point, but my problem is...
Nothing is close to South Point

If I come, I likely won't rent a car - every time I've done so in LV, it spends 95% of the trip in the hotel garage.

So for me, it would be much easier to stay on the Strip and Uber down to South Point than to stay at South Point and either rent a car or Uber everywhere.

Yep that’s how I do it, Lyft to and from Strip to SP was usually ~$15-20 each way. Much better than paying for rental car and strip parking fees.....
