I bought today 4 of them on eBay:

Why dollar? Do you have any information about this casino(s)? are they still live?

because before Euro Austria used the $hilling ?

Before Austria got the Euro, the chips did indeed have the schilling on it (a very small „ÖS“)
Casinos Austria International is a daughter of Casinos Austria, and they operate a few casinos around the world. https://www.casinosaustriainternational.com/casinos
So my guess would be, that the chip is from one of those casinos. At least for Cairns in Australia the currency would be correct.

I've got a frac. A couple actually. Casinos Austria 50c and Casinos Poland 50c.

I suppose the Casino Semiramis is also from the same company. Same symbol anyway. Cool chips.
