Just wow. What an experience...smh. I had to spend the night in Toronto with my wife and kid who is in hospital. Of course they're only let one parent stay in the hospital...so I journeyed over to the casino in true degenerate fashion.
What a complete waste of time. Easily the worst casino I've ever seen. The table games I played, blackjack and let it ride were being run by dealers that had NO clue. This guy couldnt even shuffle cards...imagine the worst home game you've ever been to and this was my experience. Lol. He even paid me off for having a pair of sevens using the community cards...I let it sit there waiting for him to correct himself. After about 10 seconds I just raked it in.
For anybody thinking of going, it is the only casino In the area but damn...

Woodbine is a disappointment. Easily the worst casino I've been to as well. I'll do the drive to Niagara.

To be fair to Woodbine, they recently were taken over by new Management, and recently switched back to live tables. All this to say that, yeah . . . I am not surprised to hear that it is a shit-hole. But giver it a year . . . they might improve to "dump".

I just felt bad mostly for the Dealer. So much so it probably tainted my opinion for good. This poor guy was on his first night dealing Let It Ride. He barely spoke English. And he made errors. When he caught them he needs the pitboss to advise. The pitboss gets all pissy and starts talking to him like an asshole. I instantly yelled back the guy "it's not his fucking fault this is happening. Your management obviously didn't train this guy right and then hang him out to dry on a Friday night?
In hindsight the only thing I'd change about that night is the money I took from the table in error. Now I think about it I should have tipped the dealer the full amount...
