I have nearly a rack of I believe 98 Paulson THC Casino de Isthmus $5 chips. I have 35 of the shaped inlay variety and 57 of the round inlay. They are all minty fresh unplayed…probably have not left the box since purchased.

Is there any difference in value between the shaped and round inlay?

What is a fair/expected priced per chip or say groups of 5 or 10?

Yes, although a concrete number will be hard to determine.

You're better off either listing the entire rack together or separating a sale into two lots, one shaped and one round.

Auction may be your best best but sales and purchases are all over the place now. Currently, minimum $5/chip for round, more for shaped.

$5 to $6 per chip for the round inlay, at least $10 per for the shaped inlay.

psst....I'd love to buy a single shaped nlay one!

Shaped are more rare and should command a higher price. I’m not even gonna speculate on price, it’s gotten ridiculous. But let’s just say they’re not cheap. 10x is the feebay way, people around here are gonna want to buy the rack

Thank you...that is good news. I will not even tell you how much I paid for these at an estate sale about 10 years back. I know the estate owner and know he has at least a full 500 chip set...going to have to see if he still has it and any interest in selling. Though I know his full set has seen a lot of play.

I will be listing them on fleabay probably in the next week or two. Got to get max value to supplement my active collection - music cassettes. Looking for a higher end vintage stereo system with a very good cassette deck. Have my eye on a used system in the $800 range...these chips should get me there or close.

1) shaped inlay $15/chip
2) minty $5s pink $7/chip

That’s what I’d pay

And that’s probably more than eBay I don’t buy there fwiw

I rocked the shit out of the 80s and 90s…lol. would have to look for them. Lot of work without knowing what it would take for a deal though. What are some grail albums you are looking for?

Well punk rock is where I am weakest and have a lot of desire to add...like Black Flag, Dead Kennedys, Discharge, Misfits, Bad Brains, Cro Mags. Also needing a lot of Death metal, Black metal...like og Bathory, Celtic Frost, Mortuary, Deicide. I pretty much have a majority of the thrash and heavy metal albums of the 80s and 90s...like all the mainstream stuff. But if cassettes/jcards are in very good condition I would be interested in any metal cassettes. Even if we did not work a trade I might be interested in a big lot buy.

Spoke to my friend about the chips. He still has them...over 1k chips in the set (no plaques) and they have been used relatively heavily. Not selling them, he still loves them and uses them :-(
