I am a relatively new chip collector. I have done it casually over the last 10 years while I was in school, but since I have a little bit more disposable income I have started getting into it again. Although my philosophy for collecting is to "collect chips that I personally like and don't collect to make money" I can't help but enjoy really digging to try and find a "valuable" chip so I constantly look up prices on every single chip I see no matter what it is... even if I am certain the chip is worthless...

However this is not the case when it comes to Chipco Chips (or similar style molds) or casino chips that are less than about 15 years old... I never look up these chips up or assign them value when I see them, because 99.999% of the time they are not worth anything. However later I occasionally get a bit of anxiety about not looking them up. I questions myself "what if I missed something because I was lazy or lacked the knowledge" so I am turning to the brilliant minds of PokerChip Forum....

Are there any Chipco Chips (or similar style molds) or chips that are less than 15 years old that are viewed as "valuable" by collectors?

I know the word "valuable" is relative, but just use your discretion. If it is over $100 or if it's value is 5-10 times more than it's counter part then I would define that as valuable.

Example: Every $5 Riviera (Las Vegas) Chipco chip is worth $5-$7, except for the ones with Heather Hunter, Jenna Jameson, or Nikki Tyler on it. Those are worth about 10 times more.

If possible, could you include the Catalog # or a picture of the chip it would be much appreciated.

I am already ready for the post stating the current (<15 years old) $25,000 Bellagio chip is worth about $24,999-$25,001 even though it is only a few years old. Thanks it has been noted, and if ever get two I will send you one :)

Thanks in advance for your help, and any other advice you have on anything feel free to give it to me.

This one comes to mind. Might sell for $35-$50 among private buyers/collectors depending on condition; $60+ if from a vendor. Their $25 Chipco chip is also a good find, selling for $200+ if not notched.
