The Casino Aztar (Caruthersville, MO) are hands down one of my favorite sets. The shaped inlay, THC, leaded goodness is hard to beat. From the fractional to the hundred, the set is full of outstanding chips...except for that turd of a $5 chip that somehow made it into the line up. Different mold, giant inlay, and just plain fugly. Not to mention they're in much worse condition than the rest of the set. All-in-all the five dollar chip is a disaster.

However, thanks to @Gear and his magic milling machine, the Aztars have a new life and a new five. Milled from the AS T5 hotstamped tournament chips, the new Aztar five features a milled shaped recess and corresponding shaped/texture label. IMO, this chip looks like it is the $5 chips the Aztar set was always meant to have.

So without further ado, enjoy the pr0n!

If I could ever find 2-3 racks of those ones, I might just stop looking for chips.

Man, you’re just pumping out the sets and great pr0n recently. This could be my favorite so far. Yes, even more than the Aruba Palm Beach. These Aztars are right up there with the PCA Secondaries in my book. And you don’t see many full Aztar MO sets! Awesome solution for the fugly $5 too. Really well done.

ok, it's nice, rest in peace little chips. Hey Bentax, I want to see you make something cool with the PCA set, need a 1k and 5k chip, just do it ;)

I can count the number of times on one hand that I've actually needed $100 chips on the table when hosting, something tells me it might be a while before I need to get 1k and 5k chips on the table. Then again, since when did this hobby have much to do with actual need. :D

I was thinking Tourney

The chip I really didn't like in the set was the $25 but for some reason it really works now with the $5.

I am still trying to wrap my head around these... they look like they were made that way!
Awesome idea to use these for the set.
Incredible work by @Gear to get these milled and labeled to look legit original!
