I am relatively new to the forum. I recently worked with ABC gifts and awards for a set of tournament chips and I love them! Thanks for the advice. What should I do about cash game chips? How many should I purchase? I expect to have a 0.5, $1 NL Hold em game and I was going to have 6 chip denominations 0.25, 1, 5, 10, 25, 100. Thanks for amy advice!

If you 're not playing lower that .50/.50, what you need is halves, not quarters.
Unless the game plays very deep and wild, you propably won't need hundreds, either.
No 10s required.
So,
.50 (10 per player)
$1 (20 per player)
$5 (20 or 30 per player)
$20 or 25 (10 per player)

If it were me, I'd just play 1/1. I still might get quarters for a lower stakes game, in case I ever needed them. Or non-denominated fracs to use as quarters or halves.

fracs x 100
1 x 200
5 x 400
25 x 80
100 x 20

Total bank is $6200+. If that's not enough, add more 25's and/or 100's. If it's far more than you need, you could back off the 5's a bit.

Also, regarding your ABC tourney set: pics or it didn't happen. :D

Here are the tourney chips! My nickname in college was Bank, so I'm going to call my poker room, The Vault. These were designed by one of the I had a completely different idea about cash game chips. What do you guys think?
