Hello everyone!

I am looking for some advice for a cash game set, for 6 to 10 players, to play NL10 (blind 10-10), NL20 (blind 10-20) and NL50 (blind 50-50), with rebuy.

Here is the breakdown than I imagine :

- 180x10c
- 100x50c
- 180x1$
- 180x5$
- 60x25$

Total 700 chips.

Do you think I have the right amount of chips to support the structure ?

And which starting stack do you advice for NL10, 20 & 50 ?

Thanks!!

I suggest you played 10c/25c & 25c/50c this way you will need much lesser 10c (which will be useless in NL50 game) as you will more likely be raising with $1 for NL 25 and $2-$3 for NL 50 meaning your $1 will be your workhorse chip.

100/100/300/160/40 10c/25c/$1/$5/$25 you will have $2,135 for your bank total which will be enough to cover 42 100bb buy in and rebuyin for NL50 game

If your group play 200bb deep and much crazier you can consider dropping 80 $1 for 40 more $5 and 40 more $25 instead

I think this sounds totally reasonable.
For NL10(20)
10 10c
8 50c
5(15) $1
rebuys with $1s and 5s

For NL50
12 50c
14 $1
6 $5
Rebuys with $5s (mostly) and $25s

Thank you for your answer. You’re right, for NL50 the 10c will not be useful. So I remove 50c and add 1$.

I will rework my structure. Thanks!!

Any set going 1-5-20(or25)-100-500 with the denominations representing dimes is perfect.
You can indeed play 1/1, 1/2, 1/3, 2/5 and 5/5 dimes.
I' d go with 800 chips, inflation-proof:
160x 1
240x 5
240x 20 (or 25)
120x 100
40x 500

Mine works great for 8 players and can accomodate 10 if required.
Chips are really cool. I read the story and this set is really in your likeness. It's crazy, you can cover four limits with this set, well done. I'd love to do the same, but it seems complicated to constitute so many family chips, especially 10c's, without customizing.

I did not think about it. I have a set with these denominations. However, I am missing a few chips. Thanks!

Playing with 10c and 25c is an extremely bad Idea.

If a 10c is needed, which is the case for his limits, then he shall go with a 50c.

Imagine someone bets 35c. You call with 2 x 25c. It'll be a mess to give your 15c back...
It does make sense with the 35c thing, didn’t even thought of that as Usually the lowest demo we play with is 25c

You can also play 5c/10c without using 10c chip.

You can play at 1/5 the value of the chip example buy in $20 and get $100 value in chip and lowest demo is 25c

This is the way We play when teaching someone new on how to play friendly poker

You'll face this issue when a denomination is not a multiple of the previous one.

Thanks for your advices.

After thinking about it, I am thinking of going on NL10/25/50 and abandoning the NL20, with the following denominations:

- 5c (or NCV, roulette)
- 25c
- 1
- 5
- 25

Indeed, I think that it will be easier to find these denominations.

@Kid_Eastwood In the end, I would like to arrive at the breakdown that you advise, 100-200-200-200-100 = 800 chips (10 players).

But first (step by step), I would like your advice for a 6-max with less chips? thanks!
