Part 1: History
The Carlton Club Casino was located on the top floor of the Carlton Intercontinental hotel in Cannes.
It was frequented by the biggest high rollers in Europe. In 1998, Groupe Partouche bought the casino, whose license transfer in 2002 allowed the reopening of the Palm Beach Cannes Casino.
Patrick Partouche said of the Carlton Casino that it did not bring in any money because, among other things, most players were richer than the casino.

Line-up
The Line up of the Carlton Cannes is the most complete I have seen to date:
- Pearly B&G plates and tokens (actually in acetate) for French Roulette and Baccarat
- Plastic B&G tokens for classic table games.
- Paulson chips for the "American games" as they said at the time in France.
There is a consistency of colors: examples of chip of 100 green francs whether in mother-of-pearl, plastic bg or paulson.

MANY tokens were MASSACRED in the name of "art" in 2017 when the Palm Beach closed... chips from both casino were used
