I’m in if shopping to America. Probably 600 chips, if not 1,000 or more if I can talk others into buying with me.

Customs and/or Arias

Hate to be that guy, but has anyone in the US agreed to be the receiver/reshipper for all these chips yet? If not…

I think @SeanGecko might be available for another GB soon
(Just kidding, bud)
This is probably going to be the biggest challenge.

Might be a good idea to offer some cash if someone is willing to do the work. Maybe $20 per 1000 chips?

If the border was open I’d do it (have relatives in Buffalo). But I haven’t crossed in over 15 months and the border is still closed. I wouldn’t want chips stranded.

So far I've had 3 people express willingness, I'm just clarifying details. Should have an answer soon.

As someone else mentioned previously we had discussed that approach in the last group and ultimately decided against it. In addition to the normal suspicion when importing large quantities of commercial goods in a personal vehicle (as opposed to a transport truck), and the higher likely hood of taxation, it looks suspicious in terms of money laundering when the chips look to the border officers like they could potentially be live casino chips, and you're importing them "for a bunch of people you've never met but know through a sketchy web forum". It's definitely still an option, but especially with the border still closed it's one I'd recommend keeping on the back burner. Thanks for the offer though.

I’d ship from the US - I’d only bring my set into Canada via vehicle (maybe one other small set - 1000 chips max)

@mnebesny, @Eloe2000. Too busy to give this my attention. I don't see anything changing until after mid July. Maybe then, providing there is time left in the process to pick edge spots, base colors, etc. Likely 800 pieces if it matters.

I like this idea
Those of us who organize these GBs do it for the love of chipping and helping to get these chips into the hands of the PCF community. The way we handled GB #1 - batches 1-4, is that most of us padded our final shipping payment to Sean with a generous tip. These chips are so reasonably priced, that it should be easy to thank your re-shipper in that way. $20 per 1000 is a very reasonable amount, and anyone who buys chips in any of these GBS, or really any GB on PCF, should budget for something like that when planning to participate.

I'm really considering getting in on this group buy. If I do, it will be for a cash set probably with the following breakdown: 100 fracs, 200 $1s, 300 $5s, 100 $25s, 50 $100s (750 chips total). It really depends on if I can get a design together on time.

A couple questions: 1) Are these regular ceramics or are they some sort of hybrid? 2) I'm assuming that I can get whatever image and edge spots I want on these, correct?

Here is a breakdown with all the information for the ceramics: https://www.pokerchipforum.com/thre...ramics-master-consolidated-info-thread.65544/

In short they are just regular ceramics with a few different molds, the card mold, diamonds, and a plain. I cant seem to find the pictures for reference. Yes you can get whatever image you want with whatever edge spot you want. the only requirements is it must be in a vector format (.ai preferable, but I've been told .eps also works) and it has to be CMYK, if it is RGB the printer will not accept.

I don't even need the ones I have coming, really lol. So sick.
Me looking at the classifieds every day…

Do the stock aces designs from bosco have some sort of tool that one can use to do some mockups / is there another tool that folks recommend?
