Hi, all I have an issue I’d like to put to bed once and for all.

Aside from casinos, which I would speculate use standard Bridge width cards because they are easier on the dealers, do you prefer/use Bridge (standard) width cards OR Poker/Blackjack (wide) width cards for playing Texas Holdem?

The main thing I'm looking for is the Jumbo index. If it is jumbo, I like bridge better than poker size. I'll take poker/jumbo over bridge/regular any day though.

So: bridge/jumbo > poker/jumbo >>>> bridge/regular > poker/regular for me.

Yup, I’m with you. Jumbo first. If we’ll be playing games with 4 or more hole cards, definitely bridge. If we’re just playing holdem, I’m good with either bridge or poker.

My problem with most Jumbo is the card within a card layout. Just bad graphic design.

I'm one of the very few who prefer poker regular.

Edit: Regular for the same reason Pedro mentioned--aesthetically the jumbo cards don't appeal to me that much. And I like the way the poker size feels. We'll see how I feel in 20 years when my eyes are even worse and I start to develop carpal tunnel syndrome from incessantly shuffling chips.

. . . we only play Holdem. I have big hands, so the larger cards are more comfortable for me to cover w two hand and peek. Doing that w the narrower cards is a bit less comfortable. I played at Mohegan Sun casino on Thurs, and not surprisingly, they used bridge size like all other casinos.

Bridge, with a slight personal preference to standard index, but I try to always buy jumbo for my players who don't all have as good of eyesight as I do.

We need the Jumbo index. We rotate the de

Those are for 40 years later. :)

We started out with poker/standard, but switched to bridge/standard when I started dealing every event. Now that the group has aged, we've switched to bridge/jumbo, so much easier to see. Hopefully we won't eventually need to move to those monstrosities above.

I have these we use them when playing with my wife's 89 year old grandmother. They serve a purpose, but they would better if they would drop the smaller smaller number and suits, less busy.

When she's not playing bridge jumbo is preferred then poker jumbo

ETA your poll thread needs an actual poll though
