Card Mold Inlay Size? (1 Viewer)

Card molds have the circle mold for the “inlay” is that circle 1in?

Ceramic chips don’t have inlays. Only pressed clay chips have those.

Are you asking what is the diameter of the chip?

I’m talking about the card mold ceramics.

Actually I wrote Tina and asked and then followed up by measuring mine with a precision caliper for a design I'm working on.

The max absolute flat area on the inlay is 25.4mm. Then the inlay circle indent is about 0.5mm. The cards mold imprints start right around a 29mm circle if you want to try to keep large label text elements inside of that circle from overlaying the card inlays. And I did not notice right away but the 8 card inlays are rotated randomly around the center so they may not be in a fixed location relative to your printing.

I think what he's saying is that there is a mold that has circle as part of it's design and was asking the size of this circle.

for example from this thread ceramics-custom-cards-mold-stump-thread

I think this is the mold he's referring to.

(I don't know the answer though)
Those are some good looking chips. ;)

The original GB stated that the inner ‘inlay area’ is 25mm. So, set your design parameters between 24-25mm.

Or, hire your preferred designer to handle all of these things.
