762C8D7E-1314-456C-9AF8-6AA68D912B51.jpeg

I have (jumbo index, poker/bridge mix):
- Zero (Tabriz)
- Ace
- NTP
- Gemaco (Superflex)
- Modiano (Texas Poker / Alpha)
- Bicycle (Prestige)
- Fournier (2800)
- Piatnik (Poker)
- Dal Negro (Statue of Liberty / Monkey)
- King (Monarch / Medieval)
- GYT
- Faded Spade
- Bullets
- Copag (1546 / Copa Casino)
- Da Vinci (Club Casino
- Kem
- Angel (Aristo / Club Poker)
- Desjgn (Victorian / Baroque)
- Guild
- Cartamundi (Bravo)

Not pictured but now have:

Not sure what else would be easy-ish to add to the collection. I would want jumbo index and 100% plastic of course!

Couple thoughts:
- Grimaud
- Cartamundi Belgium

Amazing collection !
I really want to try Gemaco Superflex but they are too hard to find (not Monte Carlo) .

Where does one find Piatnik?!
With great difficulty?
I agree that there will always be a place in my top 5 for Piatnik, but they're so hard to find in America that they're barely worth mentioning. Ebay often yields some, at exhorbitant prices. (I see a single deck there now @$30 plus $20 shipping.) There's been a goup buy or two here for them. But it ain't easy.

It really comes down to personal preference.

Do you like a softer more flexible stock vs a more stiff stock?

Do you like a grainy coarse finish or a smooth finish?

What pip/court artwork do you prefer? How about back design / color?

Tons of options and depending on preference there are decks that will fit the bill.

So as a new comer to the world of plastic cards without a real idea of what the difference is, what brands would you recommend? I currently have a setup of copags and desjgn, kem is next on my list to try I'd suppose. Still haven't been able to host where I am, but hopefully soon I can get some input from my crew aswell. Anything else you recommend trying so I can get a feel for the differences between stifness, finish, ect...

A bunch of people have had warping issues with Kems. Putting a DB on top of the deck upside down in the box seems to help with the bowing.
