I bought these chips last year from straightPokerSupplies here in Toronto.
Prestige poker chips

It was my first denominated chip set.
We used them a few times, but I ultimately couldn't get over how easy it is to end up with dirty barrels of 1s and 10s.

We found it really easy for a 1 or a 10 to slip into to the other barrel when putting them away. Can you spot the dirty stack?

Overall, I think they are a great set for the price if you don't plan on using both the 1 and the 10 together. But if you do plan on using 1 & 10 together, you may want to consider the above issue. Anyone else have a similar experience with these chips?

I have to ask this question ...... Why are you using 1s and 10s? When I use 1s, I also use 5s and 20s. Why 10s?

Very easy to mix chips, middle left. How would you rate them over other metal slugged chips?
Of the metal slugged sets I have:
1) Monaco Casino from discountpokershop
1) Monaco Millions from StraightPokerSupplies
2) Spartans from discountpokershop
3) Poker Knights from StraightPakerSupplies
4) Prestige
5) Monte Carlo (rough edges) from StraightPokerSupplies

I really like the Monaco Casino chips and the Monaco Millions, but for different reasons. The Spartans are very similar to the Monaco Casino chips. Must be from same factory.
The Poker Knights chips have my favorite labels, but the plastic colors of the chip itself look so dull.
If it wasn't for the dirty stacks issue, I would rate the Prestige chips equal to the Poker Knights.
The Monte Carlo chip edges just look like a complete mess of flashing. I've never even bothered using them.

I use them for board games.
For the past year, I've used 1-5-10-50-100-500, and feel it works quite well.
In the games we play, your money is public info. It's nice if you can quickly see how much someone has at a glance. We find it polite to keep your chips colored up.
Also, having more denominations means we need fewer chips overall in the "bank" and in player hands. Smaller chip footprint is a plus for me.

Lately I've been experimenting with adding 2s, 20s and 200s. I think I am going to keep them in. So now I'm doing
1-2-5-10-20-50-100-200-500.
Plus, adding the 2-20-200 gives me a reason to buy more poker chips :p!

I saw you mention this in another thread. Wow it looks so much worse in picture form. I have only ever played the 10 in Monopoly. in stacks of 5 to 10 it wasn't an issue but in profile I can see how it would be a problem for sure. The rest of the set should be pretty good.

I added 50-1000 and 25-5000 to the set below to make a swiss army knife versatile travel/kids/acceptable loss set for most any board game or 1 table stake tourney or cash. I have better chips but I honestly really like these. I have owned others that are available on the site but these are the only ones I still own. You can easily stack these very stable 40+ or higher on a table, They are ~$0.14/chip Canadian which is a steal. The denominations are easy to read and there is basically every denomination required for most games/counters etc... Some labels are slightly off center but no spinners that I have noticed. The vinyl label is quite nice as very visible but I am unsure of its tolerance to beer and chicken-wing saturation. Its possible these chips could become grimey at the labels edge and cleaning repeatedly could possibly weaken the label adhesion to the chip. For casual use they are awesome and if you only were going to have one set for the lowest price possible today that I'd say was even close to good well this one fits the bill. I would never resell it for the price I paid for the chips they are easily worth the buy if you have nothing else or only dice chips. They are a downgrade from Cards Mold "Anita's" and HSI chips of course and roughly on par with original run Nexgen Lucky Bee's if anyone has handled those. My only real dislike is that the chips say texas holdem on the rim. I'd prefer something generic/artistic/nothing to a logo for a specific game but the chip quality themselves make up for that and not caring to much when using them to substitute for terrible paper board game money.

I'm a big fan of 1-5-10-50-etc breakdowns for board games myself. Wouldn't even mind using them for poker, quite honestly.
