Can anyone harvest some Strats? (1 Viewer)

Justin is making the 1 grow on me. Are these hard to harvest? I really wish it had 4 Vs. But it is nice.

I found a guy to harvest me 2 racks. First rack was $150. Second was $200. He said it was very hard. He’s the second to tell me it was very hard. And they had them in the poker room but only one table going and the cage wouldn’t sell any. I wanted 10 racks at $150 for my 4-8 limit game but doesn’t look like that will happen

It’s very hard to get these out of the casino. I’m pretty experienced at harvesting. Probably brought a couple thousand chips home with me over the past year or so. And I’d say the strat is one of the two or three hardest places to get chips in quantity that I’ve hit.

Paris is pretty hard. Longhorn casino is absurdly difficult. They had a $1 blackjack table and would only give you 5 ones regardless of what you bought in for “because we don’t have that many chips.” But strat was right up there.

I didn't find Paris too hard, though it's fairly time consuming. Harrah's was unbelievably annoying though, it took me ages to just get a used rack out if there.

And we know how easy Mandalay is lol

Confirmed. Definitely not easy to get quantities of $1's from the Strat. Seemed almost like they were expecting an influx of scrub donkeys & had a staff meeting clearly instructing everyone to NOT sell chips except at the cage.

There's always the friendly, right person to approach, but overall the vibe was very anti-harvest.

Man Paris was rough for me. The dealers refused to even give me change for a five last time I tried. I’ve gotten a lot of chips from the craps table there but that’s really all I’ve had success with.

You could get strat chips from the craps table. But they only had one going when I was there, so you can’t really do the whole thing where you buy in, ask for ones, wait for a point or a craps and just get up and go to the next table pocketing ones and changing chips for more ones there.

Very well put. That was my experience exactly.

I mean, cut a chip in half to see how deep the gold thing goes into the chip
Inlays come out similar to other THC with full recess sized .975” inlays, that is to say not super sharp around the edges, but appear that they’d take a laminated @Gear label nicely.

The decor ring looks to be around .010” deep down into the clay, it definitely has clay base material throughout the middle section with the decor plastic inlaid on top of it.

I love science. Now do I want these as seating chips or bounties for Tortuga? :sneaky:

I like how the oversized inlay doesn’t effect the decor ring like it does typical RHC.

Mold is irrelevant -- the specific combination of pattern/colors is what is reserved for each customer. Same customer can have RHC, THC, IHC, and/or house mold in both 39mm and 43mm sizes, all using the same pattern/color combo.
