That's a whole lotta bicycle tires, mate, but I love'em! Nice job on the cleaning/oiling, and on acquiring the fracs/$1's in quantity!

(And those hundos...)

Still working on cleaning my $1's but ill post mine up eventually.
Those $20s .... i need a rack of those ...

Nice man. I'm about to oil up my last few racks tonight.

The hundred is one of my all-time favorites!!

I'd settle for a couple of barrels. I have 4 chips. I was lucky that I came across the $25s in quantity.

yeah... those $5s are hilarious. Notice the pic with them racked. I have a spacer in the middle of each barrel to make them fit snug. The hat and cane on some of 'em have almost worn off.

Very nice! Just by coincidence, I've been going through my Cal Bell sets this past week, and should have some time to take some good photos in the next few days.

By the way, your photos above have very good color rendering on the Peach color of the 50 cent chip - it's a bright, fluorescent, color in person, too. I've taken photos in the past and the peach color gets washed out and looks terrible with my camera, regardless of whether I use my cell phone or my handheld Canon PowerShot point-n-shoot. Any tips on how you got it to look so good?

Not tips whatsoever... I just use my iphone. It is possible that I hand selected some good looking fiddies for that splash pot. Some of the chips themselves just look washed out. Looking forward to seeing your photos.

Peach is one of my favorite of all Paulson's colors, pics never do it justice!

Nice set. I've never seen Pon of a set before tou bumped this post. Love Cali colors and those $5s.

So I just looked it up and saw that I acquired my first barrel of California Bell chips almost 5 years ago to the day in June 2014, and it's been slowly building up since then. I've bought or traded chips from some PCF'ers, including: @Gear, @Godzilla28, & @JFCJ, from some eBay sellers, and even found three (3) $20 chips in a pawn shop in Las Vegas on Fremont Street a few years ago. I used to have more $1s, but have sold some in the past few years. And about a year ago found a whole rack of $10s & a whole rack of $20s. One rack of the 10s I haven't even gotten around to cleaning, because the gunk in the mold of these chips seems to be extra resistant to ultrasonic cleaning, and needs a good bristle, toothpick, or pin to really get all of the dirt out of the mold.

Upon my first larger purchase of $1s & $5 chips, along with less than a barrel of $20s, I noticed that almost 99% of the $5 & $20 chips are worn super thin (a.k.a. bicycle tires, with no sharp edges to be found). And after finding that around 20-30% of the $1s I had were in similar condition, I started sorting & collecting the chips into 2 distinct sets. One or two others here on PCF have told me they've never seen a large quantity of $1s in really worn condition, but they're out there, or maybe I have most of them ;).

NL set: all worn chips will fit 21 (maybe 22) to a 66.7mm barrel.
80 $0.50 / 200 $1 / 440 $5s / 120 $20s / & 140 NCV metallic gold for fracs (actually RHC Klondike Sunset Casino roulette chips)

'Limit' set: all good to very good condition (for Cal Bells at least), only fit 20 in a 66.7mm barrel, some of the $25s still have somewhat sharp edges.
17 $0.25 / 100 $0.50 / 273 $1s / 177 $2s / 189 $10s / 31 $25s

Ok, here's my set. My goal with this one was to have a small Cardroom size set so around 10-12k. And I'm not baller enough to have a cardroom size set of Trops or Lakeshores so I landed on the California Bells about 8 years ago. I wanted to post Pron after I finish the project but here's the in-process shots. I apologize for the bad lighting, bad rack stacking and bad photography, yada yada yada. :)
