Cali or Vegas Colors? (1 Viewer)

I've mocked up two versions of my Four Suits CPC set. One follows the traditional Vegas-based colors while the other is a Cali color mock-up. Now I would like your opinion on which you like better.

Cali gets my vote. I like the blue 1 better than the red 5.

It's pretty close but overall I like the Cali set more.

The black chip is the best one in the set IMO and it gets in play more as a $20. Also I prefer the white $1. Cali set

For a cash set with a $20, I almost always prefer Cali colors lately. Kind of a shame to lose that nice red $5 though.

I like the Vegas mock-up best. I don't think the 25c Cali chip fits well with the rest of that line up and it makes the Cali set having too much pink overall.

why not a combo of your favorite chips? no1 should be stuck using one color-theme or another. its not like your players will be like (man, these chips stink, wish he went with a full cali cash set color theme), but arent there lots of blue vegas $1s as well?

WHAT IF......you change out the DG pink for Saturn on the quarter in the Cali color set keep the 314 peacock, green, and peach spots on it and move the red fiver down to that group. Win, win

If I had to pick one or the other, my vote would be for Vegas. Mix and match, I'd go with the dark blue quarter, light blue dollar, red fiver, black twenty and white hundo.

was going to pick the Vegas colors, because it's what I prefer generally, but I had to go with the Cali in your example, because a DG Peacock $1 is awesome!

I will say that at meetups, when I've gotten to play with various colored sets, the one's with $1 white chips seem to interest me the least. And though I'm more comfortable playing with standard colors, I always enjoy mixing it up at meetups.

I Love the classic colors on you chips. But then again I like the classic colors over any other color combos in general.

Cali.....because I hate red $5 chips (I actually hate all red chips, but most cases they are 5's)

Pink quarter, dark blue as $1 instead of quarter, red $5, black $20, white hundo. Those are my favorite chips -- so a mix

Ok. Played with CDT and stay Cali as is but only change the DG pink base out for charcoal.

Color me stupid, but I'd make that gorgeous black chip your $1 chip, just to get a shit-load of 'em on the table. Go to work from there..... and to hell with 'standard' colors. It's your set, do what looks good to you. With chips that pretty, nobody's gonna complain when they sit down to play.....

I can't deal with the idea of using a black $1 chip. I don't know what it is, but something inside of me is screaming "no!" I am really glad that everyone seems to like it so much and I have to thank @abby99 because it is a complete and total homage to her BCC Lady Luck Club $100 chip and she has been so nice about me essentially copying it.

Also, that $20 chip is a shout-out to your 20th Century set Dave. I absolutely love that chip, and I'm not usually one for 4D14 spots.

Don't touch the 5-100 on your Vegas line up. Ship those. The frac/1 can be discussed, but leave those others alone.

I like your cali 1 over the Vegas 1, and it's not close. The opposite is true for the frac...much prefer the Vegas frac. Unfortunately the Vegas frac & cali 1 probably shouldn't be used together.

What about a second Cali-colored mock-up? The only real thing that's changed is the quarter and that's so I can still have a chip with a red base in the line-up.
