Buying cards overseas? (1 Viewer)

My wife is heading to Italy here in about a month and before I send her on a wild goose chase to buy me some Modiano Platinum Acetate cards I was wondering if anyone has bought over there and if it is worth it or not?

I see they are pretty well regarded by most on this site. I just bought some J Design cards for my first go round with plastic cards and I enjoy them a lot.

Or is there anything else they offer over there to have her check out?

IF she is in the area where they are made, why not make a quick detour to see about getting some on the cheap? I would personally love to take a tour of a card manufacturing facility, just as I have enjoyed distillery tours in the past.

Maybe she could pick up a set-up of plastics using local or Euro notations? The Dutch, for example use a "B" to denote the "Jacks", or at least they did.
