I have to go to Buffalo in early July for a wedding. Any casinos that spread poker up there? I'm staying right next to the Seneca Buffalo Creek Casino but I don't think they have poker (though they do have fairly OK Paulsons).

I won't have a car (flying in) so keep that in mind if recommending another casino for some 1/2 or 2/5 NL.

Probably a little too far without a car, but about 3 hours away or so in Binghamton is a game my cousin could get you in. Nice guys, real sweethearts, and runs pretty big if it's a payday for the municipality.
Problem is it's stud high only. Be great if you could get those guys playing circus games.

They are old school East Coasters, so yeah, they love their stud. I shouldn't have even brought it up though, it's a little too far and in all honesty they are a little leery of new players ever since there were a few kids that came from the city and got caught cheating, used my name to get in the game too. One of em ended up dead in the city after a few Russians caught him doing the same thing about 6 months after that, the other guy cleared his debts and headed to Vegas. Last I heard he was driving for one of the local delivery services and playing poker at night.

Wasn't all bad though, the boys got to tune up a couple hot shot kids and ended up keeping their money to. Bought a new pool table and paid the tax bills that were owing on the bar, even had enough left over to buy a few rounds for the house on the next game night.

Seneca Niagara is a fine casino and not too far across the border is fallsview and casino niagara

Seneca Niagara has some good games but they are about 20 miles from where you will be. If you do get there, you could walk across the border to Canada and play at either casino over there (you will need a passport, though). But the trick for you will be getting to the falls in the first place.
Maybe wear some short shorts and show a little leg and you might catch a ride.

When in July will you be there?

Seneca was pretty nice. I went there a few times last month while traveling for work. My hotel was on the northeast side of Buffalo near the university but my conference was in Niagara Falls. It wasn't that bad of a drive. It helped that the conference was at the convention center right across the street. :) I only played poker for a couple hours one evening but made sure to keep my conference badge/name tag on so they knew what was up.
