Playing very little poker lately.

Calls for a brag thread so I can live vicariously through others.

Played .50/.50 instead of our usual $1/$1 Monday night. First game in four weeks. Like going without water.

In for $50, out for $262.

Pictures appreciated. Will try to do the same going forward.

One of our players who everyone loves to hate was on a serious heater three quarters of 2020. He was on his way to achieving mvp player of the year until I stopped him just barely near the end.

Played fived handed this evening. NLHE, Hero rivered two pair, aces and threes, on the last hand of the night, taking down another pot shortly after snapping the above photo.

Hero played fairly loose early on, donating his chips. Down to $20 on his third and last buy-in. Villain to Hero's right double straddles to $4. Hero blind bets his $20. UTG calls, the other players fold. $48 pot.

Flop: K, (Villain immediately shows a King) 8, K. Villain asks Hero to show his cards, stopping the dealer. Hero picks up and turns over his first card - a three. Hero's second card is a 7, off-suit.

Turn card is another diamond. Three diamonds on the board. Hero is holding the 7 of diamonds. The last card is another diamond. Hero gets there on the river!

All of us were crying with laughter at Villain's misfortune. As Kasouff would say, three, seven off-suit like a boss!

Hero: In for $130, out with $460.

Played 8 handed $5/$10 Limit Hold-em and Omaha-hi, dealer's choice last night. Hero tried to catch up on the day's events through his cell phone when he first arrived. Hungry, he started to look for places to order take-out. One of the old school regs, Kenny, asked Hero what would happen if he didn't have his phone. Hero got the message, stating that he would put his phone away.

Villain, still agitated and unsatisfied with hero's response, repeated the question. Hero told the table that Kenny was his poker coach, which broke the ice. Kenny let the subject drop. Hero was down around a buck twenty at the time. He cashed out +$420 at evening's end.

Hero said good night as he was leaving. Kenny hollered after Hero as he was going up the stairs "Are you playing next week?" to which Hero said yes. Kenny, "Good! Make sure you bring your cell phone!"

I just got a text message from Bob who organizes the $5/$10 dealer's choice limit hold-em/Omaha-hi game in town.

Bob: "You playing tonight?"

Hero; "Yes. I will be there at 7:30."

Bob: "Okay, see you then."

Hero: "Tell Kenny I am bringing my cell phone."
