I have a two-part question about casino chips with boxers/boxing matches printed on them.
I‘m not sure if I should have posted this as an interest thread
1) When did casinos start releasing these types of chips? What’s the earliest date - 70s? 80s? 90s? I’d like to know the history about the releasing of these themed chips.
2) Does anyone have any boxing chips they’d be willing to part with?
So far Mayweather and Pacquiao are persons of interest (either against each other, or against other opponents.)
There might be interest in others, but I’m waiting on my cousin to give me some more names or specific fights.
