You... want to... take the face... off?
These Poseidon chips were made in 2006 forDoes the inlay look as though it has a laminated cover, so to speak? If not, then it's likely paper, and thus problematic to murder easily.
Do we know when these chips were made? What I've been finding with TRKs is that the more recent fantasy chips are the ones with the paper underneath them.
They’re just clay discs right? I mean, who cares!
Woa, now, hey, now, every chip is beautiful in its own way, now.Just because they’re rare doesn’t mean they’re appealing. They’re fugly inlays, and if they are able to be relabelled I’d do it in a heartbeat. You do you @Changster
Also, it’s not like it’s a culturally significant movie. Maybe if they were chips from the original, but the movie has a 33% score on rotten tomatoes. murder away imo
That’s like when my mom said all of us were special but my siblings all know she loves me best. I mean, I kinda get your point, TRKs rule, but not every chip is created equally. A bunch of people are telling someone what to do with his own chips, but if they were really that special someone would make him a ridiculous over value offer like every other ”grail” chip out there. I highly doubt that’s going to happen.Woa, now, hey, now, every chip is beautiful in its own way, now.
Original TRK sets are not that easy to come by, now.
All kidding aside, I do think many other people would find this PLAYABLE TRK set pretty nice to own, hence... maybe just think twice. or thrice. Take your finger off the Dremel in the mean time.

I’m willing to sell for $26999.
There, fixed it for you.Although, at over $22/chip for murdered chips, you MAY BE stuck with them THIS YEAR.

Hey now! I love that movie... but also often disagree with rotten tomatoes, the lower the score, the more likely I am planning on watching it!Just because they’re rare doesn’t mean they’re appealing. As far as actual movie props which these are, there are not many other playable sets of original movie prop chips, definitely not TRKs. Bill you say all chips are not created equal and you are right! All matching edge spot patterns with pretty neutral colors. I am curious if really anything could be added to make them significantly better? Just an example... would say "Rosie's Bayou" fantastic graphics really make these chips pop? I understand a personal inlay making them into someone's customs has its appeal to some, but now you have an entire murdered Scrown set.
Back to not all chips are the same... one small part of what makes TRKs special is the seamless, recessless face. There is no way to easily recreate this effect. No existing ring to say here is the stopping point of the clay that we get with a Paulson chip.
I agree they are your chips, do what you want! I hope that $22 price tag that was mentioned is not true, if it is...ouch on turning them into customs. Again not trying to beat a dead horse, but aren't these like 9.5 grams? Pretty sure CPC can get there and give you a tons of additional options in real customs, cool colors, shaped inlays. Also if there is that much value in these chips you could get 4 -6 times as many real customs for the same money. Just doesn't make sense to me.
I am no saint, I have murdered chips and plan to murder more. I just question why with this particular set.
Back to the OP making them a Cash set...
So I am partially color blind but that red/ purple has dirty stack written all over it for my eyes. With only 4 denoms available I would personally want them as far apart as possible. If not using a frac, I would consider (red $1/ yellow $5/ blue $20/purple $100) if going with a frac (yeah right... not how @Changster rolls! Lol) I would go traditional Cali red/blue/yellow/purple

This is why I sold them. I couldnt bring myself to murder them.
But if youre willing to break me off a rack of 100s and 500s, I'd go serial killer on them. (Well not me, but whoever i pay to mill them Lol)
I sold it as a set a while ago...it got broken up?Those blue hundos took me a long time to get just a few chips to complete a rack… the set needs to stay together!

dang..i didnt have a scale back them, but i could have swore they were light. my loss
That's not Poseidon (which is mostly about 10g), this chip from the original TRK denominated & spotted sample set. Note the brass? flakes for added weight. Don't see too many of these floating around now.
