3 of a Kind
Hi everyone,
I have used @T_Chan and @Racer96 Multi-Life tournament and just put a new spin on it.
I'm always trying to spice up our monthly game and I think I found a way.
It's called a K.W.Y.K. tournament. Keep What You Kill. It's a QUICK (Notice the play on words/letters?) tournament that lasts 2 rounds. Each round is 20 minutes. Blinds are 25/25 and 25/50. Each player starts with 1000 chips. At the end of this mini tournament, you add your stack to your main tournament total.
So far this has worked out quite well for a few reasons.
1) Sometimes in a tournament we get a bad beat and are forced to go home. In this case, stick around because you still have the main event to play.
2) Sometimes we are just not on our game and just need a wake up call. Normally you have to primed and ready to play a tournament, but in this case mistakes are not going to cost you a lot.
3) You have a chance to try new things at the table without knowing that if you blow your stack, you are finish. Time to go.
