A month or so ago I talked about giving away Paulson’s to my pops without knowing (Until I became a member of the PCF (I had no idea what they were). Quick history on them. They were given to me from a buddy who was a black jack dealer at Sandia Casino in Albuquerque. They were sitting in my garage the whole time for 8-10 years. I was so used to playing with metal inserts I was using those on our family poker night. He gave me that set as well.
Some of you asked for pics. Well here they are. I believe they are a Paulson Hot Stamp.

Yes they are paulson Top hat and cane. You can keep them as they are or try to mill them and put on labels

I’m torn - not sure if this earns you positive or negative chipper mojo!!

Nice chips! Though breakdown is a little wonky. If you keep the Red as $5s then you'll probably need lots more Whites and Blues as fracs and $1s for cash games (either/or).

He wouldnt understand the appreciation of Paulson Chips. Heck neither did I, until I joined PCF. To him they are just poker chips lol. I let him know the set was a casino grade classic poker chip and I believe they are no longer made. I plan on taking him some Minanos to the cabin where he kept the chips, he rarely used them, only when the family would go together. My buddies and I would bust them out way more when were up at the cabin. At the cabin where these were kept, we played on the outside patio. Problem the seams on the patio floor are wide enough for a poker chip to fall through easily. We had no idea what we had in paulsons. I think back to all the drunken poker nights, kids playing around with them...weve probably lost several. Anyway long story shot, he agreed its best if i hang onto them. I also let him know about the PCF where this is a big time hobby. Maybe we can build onto them, sell them or barter.
Id say the chips i have a in good to very good condition.
