She had financial problems the entire time she ran the casino. This didn't help. She liquidated the million dollar display (Each of the $10,000 bills in it was worth WAY more than $10,000 to collectors when she did). One of those $10k bills from that display would rank high on a most baller casino collectible ever list. There's 100 of them out there somewhere.

These chips were never on the floor. The Binion son had them made to cash them in to screw over his sister who had kicked him out of the casino. It worked and she had to cash him out. Half a mil per rack adds up fast.

If the seller had put this in the description they'd be sold already.

That is public knowledge, but not common knowledge. Seller may not know. The seller would also have to admit that nobody is quite sure how many of these there are...
What company made that Horseshoe mold? Thats my favorite look of all their older ones besides the TH&C
The dark purple 50C chip on that mold.......oooooooooooolala, If a rack of those just popped up, I might have to sell some
Amazon :p

HORSESHOES -- 16 horseshoes, alternately pointing in and out. 1952-early 2000's. T. K. Specialty Co., Reno NV. They just make dice now. TK was sold to Bourgogne and Grasset, mainly for T.K.'s dice business. So B&G owns the horseshoe mold now, ...

If TK did not have chip equipment, then ASM made these I assume. It was after Burt and before CPC for sure.

I’m certain the horseshu mold was ASM/Burt. Oxyclean dissolves the chip. Dawn only for cleaning.

....Aaaaaand sold for $1700. I was prepared and willing to pay $1,200. Paying $1700, plus another $150 in California sales tax just made it too much for me. Considering how many Binion's chips are suddenly hitting the market I was afraid the current value wouldn't hold.
Yeah eBay gross. 6.25% tax for me and 13% out of their side so just about a 20% swing of what they get and I’d pay :meh:. Luckily my parents are moving to NH so nope I have a tax free address !:wow:

He should have taken a rack out to Freemont and given every family one of the chips as they walked into the casino for fun
That would have turned some heads. Say you have to play it in one bet, you cant cash it out :p
Just for the look on peoples faces and the whirlwind in the news it would have stirred up would have been priceless.

This is what I was afraid of.....These chips were relatively "rare" selling for $30-$40 consistently on eBay and now you've got multiple people shitting out racks at the same time.

My guess is the Binion or family friend who has this treasure trove of chips needs money and is selling off chips to some of the well known dealers.
Hopefully someone will shit out some more 500s, 1ks, and 5ks.
