Wanted Big Al's Speakeasy yellow fracs. (1 Viewer)

Hey all,
ALWAYS looking for these Big Al's Speakeasy yellow quarters. I know that there aren't many of these out in the wild but hoping to scoop up any and all that people may come across. I cleaned out Spinetti's a few years ago and I have been buying singles on eBay for years and have accumulated a little over 140 so far. I would like to get this to at least 2 full racks. Please don't judge, I just like using lots of fracs in my lower stakes games. I would offer $10/chip for singles to get people interested.

Ooh nice! I'm averaging about 3 chips per year from eBay (just don't see them offered) so 2 in one shot would be killah man.

There was one guy selling one for $40. It took him over 2 years to sell it and honestly couldn't believe that someone paid that much for a solid hot stamped chip. There is one on eBay right now that someone is selling along with the $1 and the hundo for $100 with a BIN for $150. I can guarantee you that this guy saw the frac sell for $40 and thinks he can get crazy money for his 3 chips. I want the chip bad but I'm not that crazy.

Yeah I tried to get that guy down to a more realistic price for awhile now but he is the “expert” apparently. LOL. I offered him more than I was comfortable spending and he still declined. So unfortunately that is one frac that I will never get.

Actually if anyone is active on the Chip Board or Strike Point, would someone mind asking around for some of these? I would certainly pay a finders fee for some in quantity. I found a post on the Strike Point forum where the guy was friends with an ex-worker at the casino and was told there was actually a $500 chip. I’ve never seen an image and I’ve never read anything about there being a $500 chip. He also mentioned that he had some chips from there. I’ve never been able to navigate those forums so I’ve never signed up so I doubt any of those guys will ever respond to my emails.

Yup thank you for the heads-up.
My priority (if you want to call it that) right now is the fracs. We mostly play small stakes so 2 racks of fracs is ideal for my current game. I may jump on that Spinetti's offering later just to have moar but it's not a cheap set by any means and I really don't need anymore of those denoms.

My current set sits at:

So apparently someone REALLY wanted this frac...sniped with 3 seconds left. Dollahs can be had no problem so this was all about the frac. Does someone else around these parts have a set of these?

Yes sir. I threw a $50 bid out there when the current bid was only $8.00 thinking there was nooo waaaay that someone wanted that chip more than me but wanted to play it real safe. I guess I was brutally wrong. LOL.
