Not Mine Bicentennial (ok maybe centennial) vegas brass metal slugs (1 Viewer)

They've been discussed here for many years. I still have some from my original two sets.

The most recent discussion was at the thread:

2005 WSOP Binyon's Horseshoe 500xBrass Set Value??

Post 17:

'.... the first chips I bought with the intention of using them specifically for poker was these brass "Binyons [sic] WSOP 2005" monsters on eBay, from a company called "Best Bet Limited" in New York City:

Shortly thereafter, these chips got shut down by the WSOP, and they started producing them with the Tangiers theme. '

...and...

'These chips originally sold as 500 chip sets in very nice cases for $99.95 each from Best Bet in Brooklyn. I bought two at the time, to replace my dice chips. Live and learn!

(I still have at least one set, and both Best Bet cases.)

Then the "cease and desist" letter arrived from Binions, and these "Binyons" were immediately retooled as "Tangiers". '

And now the Centennials! They just can't be stomped out... :cool
