Beware This Year's Flu...It's a Killer! (1 Viewer)

What a lonnnng week this has been. The flu has gone through my house and basically over the past two weeks has victimized everybody! the latest two casualties were my 6 year old son and my 18 month daughter who ended up getting pneumonia at the end of it all . My daughter was admitted into hospital after a weeks worth of fevers and an oxygen saturation of 86%. Compounding her condition is the fact we have discovered she is asthmatic.
So my advice to anybody even feeling the least bit sick, fevered or developing a new cough....stay the "F" home, drink lots of fluids and enjoy the Stanley Cup playoffs..Especially if you have wee ones..

I really wish sick people would stay the F home. I hate going grocery shopping and watching sick people hack all over the fresh fruit and vegetables.

Probably the worst part is the inevitable feeling of guilt. I'm wishing we had taken her to see the doctor sooner. Crushing guilt.

It is always heart wrenching when the little ones get sick! Thankfully, nature takes care of them for the most part and the illness runs its natural course. Hang in there. Hope they get well soon!
