Best seafood joints traveling 1-95 in MD, asking for a friend (1 Viewer)

In MD only? Off of 95? Nothing south of the city, that’s for sure. I don’t go north much, but I assume there’s some good stuff closer to Aberdeen

Lobster rolls at Seven Seas in Milford, CT. Not to be missed.

Boiled, then buttered pulled lobster on a toasted, buttered hot dog roll served hot. Really nothing is better. Plus they actually offer a double roll platter! Good luck eating just one lobster roll.

"Not to be missed"? Maybe if you're just buying it to take the lobster meat home and make a real lobster roll. You know, something with actual flavor.

That one's just lobster meat on a buttered bun. Drive a little further up to, say, the area from New Bedford to Cape Cod, and that thing would be laughed out of town...

Wow, I’m from New England and have eaten quite a bit of lobster in my time including on the Cape. I can only name two things that I’ve seen accompany lobster In any restaurant or home: 1) nothing at all, 2) butter.

Not to thread jack here, but what makes lobster better than more lobster or butter? I mean it’s already lobster.

Not just me - best in Connecticut!

Sure, people do funny stuff with lobster across the U.S., including adding mayonnaise and serving it cold. All lobster is good, but I suppose in Southern Connecticut there are some lobster purists. Just try one there.

Best lobster roll I ever had was at a little dive called Red’s Eats in Wiscasset Maine.
My parents have a home in Rockland about 45 minutes away.
I’ve not had a lobster roll that compares to Red’s. Definitely the Bomb of lobster rolls! :D
