My wife said she'd be cool with me having a session of poker on our vacation, especially if I got her a massage and a nice room for her to relax in while I play. We'll be driving through Kentucky, so I could hit either Cincinnati or Indy. Where's the best place to play, especially lower stakes Omaha games?

If there's a spa in the casino, that would be a plus. If not, maybe one a short drive away?

Shelbyville (Live) has a casino that spreads Omaha, but they are not open on Mondays, I'm not sure about Tuesdays.

Its about 30 mins outside of indy, you really don't want to stay super close to it, Greenwood has decent hotels and spas. Its just south west of the casino and south of Indy. Cinci is about 2-3 hours east.

Depending on the days you are in town there are charity games, Friday Night has a nice 1 / 2 with a reasonable rake, but you have to be onsite at 3:00 pm to get on the list, game starts around 5, they typically have 1 or 2 officers at the lodge, the games have been very lively recently, guy cashed out for 12k last week typically it would have been around 1 or 2k.

Holdem tourneys at a different location are great if thats your thing, I'm guessing its not =)

Greenwood is a safe area you won't run into any problems there, not even in the wallmart  :ROFLMAO: lots of stores and decent food places.

Depending on what kind of food you like and or budget I can offer suggestions. As well as events other than the casino. There is a nice area south and with this 'heat wave' you might do well to drive through Brown County, it has a lot of little shops most wives enjoy, and its a nice drive particularly in the fall.

French Lick is a nice area and they have a Spa hard to say 'in' the casino but it is on the grounds, been a while since I was there, its north east of Louisville.

This is the best place, likely for 100s of miles, for Vietnamize food, pho is amazing! the coffee is outrageous.
The area is not a good area to hang out in or shop around, but its fine during normal hours. I'd take 65 north to Lafayette and go south.

If you like Chinese food Fast Wok is a fusion place and man do I love the schezwan chicken, it is to die for, again not a area you want to shop in.

Downtown Indy does have a mall, and if Beer is your thing I can give you lots of locations to check out, top of the list is Center Point Brewery. Ton of great places to eat. Thai Spice in Greenwood, or Siam Square close to downtown. If you have any questions, please feel free to PM me.

I was a bit harsh but you can check out my post when they opened the room https://www.pokerchipforum.com/threads/horseshoe-indy-a-casino-experience.84970/

Hard Rock in downtown Cincinnati is the only local casino with regular plo games and is the best local poker room. Not a casino hotel though, for that you would need to go to Hollywood which also has poker, but on a much smaller scale

Find a nice hotel in downtown Cincy for the spa and go play plo at the Hard Rock. Hard Rock partners with some nice hotels in the area

If heading south through Louisville is an option Caesars Southern Indiana is a great property. They have a spa and a really nice poker room. Not sure about Omaha, but we've always had great trips playing down there. It's nice to stay and play at the casino. Good luck!
