Best paulson poker chips (1 Viewer)

full

Well, best Paulsons I've ever owned anyway.

There are lots of threads on peoples’ favorite chip design and inlay designs. There is moral/historical/preference debate about casino chips vs “fantasy” home game chips vs “direct buy” chips. Generally people, including myself, prefer shaped inlays.

But as far as the actual Paulson chips themselves there are different molds and build materials. Personally I like leaded THC mold > IHC, THC, suits/card pip mold > “Paulson chips”, pineapple, and web molds > casino house molds > RHC > Roulette mold.

Very common for this question to surface, especially for new members. Best way to answer this question is with another question. Have you handled any Paulson chips in person yet and if so, anything in specific about them that you like? The best chips are the one's that you like the most and feel you would enjoy better than anything else.

haha. I think compression molded dice chips Would be a smash hit... contain your excitement!

Jokes aside, I like the overall quality of dice chips. If they improved the inlay art and colors I think a good quality set of chips could be made using the dice materials. Nothing but good memories playing with dice chips for 10+ years with friends.

I have terrible memories of trying to stack dice chips and they would always explode. We got so frustrated that we would just play out of racks. I ended up going with hot stamped Super Diamonds for a while, until I won enough money for custom ASMs.

Back to the OP...The best set that you can afford...or what @allforcharity said. Bright colors go a long way with me. @JeepologyOffroad  :whistling:

Dice chip exploding barrels confirmed.

Also, white chip spot should be lav or gray.

Any that you can get.. My personal favorite are Noir and Casino de Isthmus

I 'll have to reply to dear @Eloe2000 here too.
614 isn't by definition dull, especially as compression molded clay.

These would look even better in person than on the screen. We are used to busy spot/color patterns online in particular, but these are very well balanced and would be great on the felt.
