Are any on you PCF'ers playing online and if so where at? I have been playing on Ignition the last couple of weeks and am not really digging the site. There are no usernames or avatars and at times the "shuffling" seems less than random. I used to play online before "Black Friday" and am just getting started again. I am not really playing online to try and make a bunch of money, but instead as just a place to play and get some experience. I have a couple of cash games in town but no casino's in the state.

Thanks,
BlueMerle

I was wondering the same. i have yet to play online, but i am considering playing on ACR. I m in NC, so there isn't legal online poker.

I’m playing a little on Global Poker. Since I’m in NY, there aren’t a whole lot of options. Global uses a sweepstakes method whereby a sweeps coin is equal to $1, and that somehow skirts the law.
To deposit, I had to provide my driver’s license, and to cash out, provide a routing number for direct deposit to a bank account.

Yeah I'm trying to figure a decent one. I don't get how sports betting is legal in TN, but not poker or casinos.

If you feel that way you're going to feel the same everywhere

A lot of folks have moved to private clubs on mavens or pokerrrr or GG

I prefer it because as a club owner I can curate the player pool and keep out folks who are bad for the game. Downside is doing the finances but it's worked well for me and many others. I'll never play cash on bog sites where cheating potential is too high between collusion and super users. Plus the sites could get shut down or go under which has happened in the past.

I have less concern about randomness of deals but a lot of people focus on that aspect which I personally think is our pattern recognizing brains being fooled by variance and small sample sizes.

I do not disagree. We tend to remember or focus on the strings of odd variance and forget about the run of cards that are "normal". After playing on Ignition for about 2 months and seeing a a lot of hands (maybe 10,000) I can say it evens itself out.
