Best Micro Stakes Chips/Sets (3 Viewers)

Artichoke Joe's has nickles and dime hotstamps. I bought a rack of the nickles from spinetties recently. They're fantastic.

Not sure you can ask the guys at spinetties. I know of at least 3.
Yes, I seen they have them at some crazy $6 a chip, so $600 for a rack. Their prices are a bit high IMO, like maybe double. No idea of the actual condition either.

They may be on the high end but they are a retail store after all. Always call them or email them to get their bulk pricing if looking to order a rack also. They always offer discounts off of the singles pricing (if their quantities support it).

Yeah I think my rack of nickles from them was $400 which I thought was fair for good condition spotted hotstamp nickles.

I did contact them. Asked them if I could see a picture and if any were warped. Just waiting to hear back :)

When you consider average hot stamp casino used fracs run $250 - $300 for $.25 or $.50 per rack.... how many casinos ever made Nickles? Maybe 25 - 30... how many are spotted? Hmm one comes to mind. In playable quantities?? Before I knew how many actually existed I probably would have gone way higher than $6 a chip (I bought several of their singles foe that price) to get enough together to maybe one day have them playable!

I definitely don't think $400 a rack is not resonable... but what the heck do I know.

Thank you very much for the suggestion. I went ahead and ordered a rack. Might be a few that have slight warping, unfortunately. I'm hoping for the best.

I can't believe they actually had a 1c spotted chip as well, that's crazy... and cool as hell.
The idea applies the same as a real penny does; it costs more to manufacture than it's designated worth  :ROFLMAO:

What's wrong with using a non denom set? I lean towards definitely preferring denoms but absolutely nothing wrong if that's what you have,

my problem with that would be people asking constantly which one is which after 2 hours of playing!! Or ohh I didn't mean to bet that much shenanigans.

I love it when a guy answers his own question, and in the same post yet! :cool

(Sorry, Ben!)
