Title says it all. I have tons of cut cards but they are all pretty basic save one that is half yellow half red, but even that one isn't anything special.

I'd either like the best material or something unique (maybe both, if it exists) but also wondering if there is a place to buy cut cards that is better than Amazon?

@PokerChipsDesign makes some awesome custom cut cards.

Sadly, I don't have any good pics to share of his work, so here's a poor pic that was on my phone that shoes a couple of the cut cards...

I was recently looking into this as most of the cut cards sold now are cheap and curl. Back in the early 2000’s you could find actual “shoes” (not Blackjack shoes) or “bottom cards” as the dealers in AC told me they were called. They are much thicker...as thick as two cut cards. I still have a couple but these were closest I could find. My old ones are yellow on one side. Here is a front and back pic.

Here is as close as I could find

A little off topic but I play in someone else's game right now. He had crap cards so I gifted him some KEM arrows (I was never going to use them, not my preferred cards) and some Cartamundi jumbo index bridge sized cards and cut cards for both setups. First game after he isn't using cut cards. There are two tables and I've volunteered to be dedicated dealer on one of them, another guy who I know and is a member of a large local poker meetup poker group was dealing the other table. I brought two bridge sized and two poker sized cut cards with me because I know this host isn't into using cut cards. So before the game I give the other dealer the proper sized cut card and I use one as well.

Gotta train some people the hard way. Cut cards are the very most basic poker security measure there is, imo. So easy. I counted the decks at every color up and the host was super curious about what I was doing. I posted before about missing a KQ same suit, AK same suit and a random 6 after a game in a different thread and I'm really starting to wonder if this host is the cheater. His reaction was not normal. He really seemed concerned that I was checking the deck. He won the previous 3 tournaments and has not made the money since.

I snagged some from chipshippie back in the day... these were stellar. Using my original Buckys Poker Den theme.

Then did a bunch from pokerchipdesign. These were to update to my Fat Tire theme, but sadly I was not as impressed. I mean, they were “ok”, but they were bowed/warped.. not just one, but all of them. Better than nothing, but my go to cut cards are the old Buckys Poker Den one’s. They perform better.

Thanks @Trihonda exactly what I'm looking for

You’re welcome. And really, the newer FT cut cards are still nice. They’re just not as nice as the ones I had made up before. If I didn’t have those in comparison, I’d be raving about the new ones.

I don't know when you got those cards from PokerChipDesign, but those are not what I got from him.

Zero warping on any card. Much thicker than what you showed as well.

We've had these for quite a few years too.

I bought some custom full color cut cards. chipjoker (me) designed the graphic and they were made buy http://m.pokercutcards.com/
These are aluminum with a full color printed decal (vinyl I believe), I am very happy with them, if they were doubled up, they might be a little better in hand..

Some local casinos will give you a cut card! But I mean you could make one yourself....pretty easy stuff....
