Very unconventional but I use the cheap racks and put 21 per row. The additional chip is a blue NCV mostly but I also have 25 pink 25k's in the tournament set. The blues are used as bounties.

I have a 67.7 and 20 Majestics fit great, EXCEPT, they don't seat down all the way.
I bought these on eBay and the Majestics seat perfectly, EXCEPT, you need 21 chips.
Of the two, I'll take the eBay rack, with 21 chips.

I went ahead and ordered these trays. I have an idea to fix them for 20 per barrel that I will share with you after I get a chance to try it out. Thanks!

Sounds good. Keep me posted. Guys have posted ideas for spacers. Other than storage, by "play" chips sit in a chip carousel, or similar chip racks to these below. so it's not much an issue for me, but still curious about what you come up with.

Well I ordered these .and after a week, they haven't showed up, even with 2 day shipping. The seller won't respond either so I asked for my money back.

They do fit 21 per row but seem to fit the Majestics great!

By the way...I edited the post above. I'm not sure what I was seeing but the Majestics do fit down into the Da Vinci racks perfectly. These will work but with 21 per row.

I don't have any casino chips with me but my guess is yes the Majestic's are thinner. My dice chips fit in the racks a standard 20 to a row and the Majestic's are 21 to a row.
Darn ok thanks. The that would drive me nuts.
Did you try the Brybelly trays vs the Da Vincis. I know the brybelly ones fit the Milanos very well

It's definitely not ideal. I love the chip design, but I would have made sure that they were full casino thickness if I created a new chip set myself.
Do you know the weight of a barrel vs a barrel of Milanos?

Well, even though I cancelled the order, the Brybelly trays arrived this morning....I stacked my Majestics in and honestly they a just like the Da Vinci chip racks...21 per barrel and they fit just the same.
I do not. I can post the barrel weight of Majestics here in a few days though.
I have sample sets of both. Using my kitchen food scale I came up with that both style chips weigh in between 9g to 10g. The scale I used rounds to the nearest gram.
And I could not actually weigh a barrel of either ( sample sets only ), but a half barrel of each weighed 94g so a barrel should come in somewhere around 187g or 188g.

Some barrels of Majestics are as low as 186.5g...some up to 191.5g. Very inconsistent from denomination to denomination.
These are some swings. I wonder if there is a problem with the newer batch of chips?
Anyone have a sensitive scale where they can weigh a couple of older barrels?

I found it interesting after weight a few chips (post oil) that they are around 9.5 grams. I didn't do a scientific study but it seems like they are soaking in some mineral oil. I'm not sure if the oil will evaporate away/lighten up or not. I have a few more yet to oil in a couple of weeks...It will be interesting to see how much weight they gain post oil.

My idea was going to be to buy a 39mm plastic hole saw bit along with a 1/8" or 3/16" thick sheet of acrylic (whichever is needed). Quickly cut the 39mm disks out, cut them to size (2 inserts per disk) and then put them in place. Much like a spacer, but for good measure, you could use acrylic "weld" which "melts" the inserts in place. There you go..trays that hold 20 chips!

However, I too am okay with trays that hold 21 Majestic chips. My Pelican case is only set up for 10 trays...better to hold 1050 than 1000 (y) :thumbsup:

I don't know how odd the Majestic weight differences are. I just just received a sample set of Paulson TH&C Tournament series and they weigh:
9.7g, 10.1g, 9.7g, 9.9g
9.6g, 8.8g, 8.6g
That's not exactly consistent!
