Just a weekly casual player not grinder, but for 2019 I want to keep track of my stats across tournaments, different horn (Edit: home) games, and casino rooms etc. Looking for a great app for keeping stats without trying every $10 app one at a time.

I know @Hornet recently asked the same question but I am surprised there was only one suggestion.

Poker Tracker Pro is what a couple of the guys in my regular use. What have y’all tried that has good graphics and stats?

I use an app called RunGood, it’s more than 10 bucks, but it’s outstanding. I got the app several years ago, but I also punched in my spreadsheet info since 2011, so now I have a record of all of my results for eight years which is a pretty great thing. You can use filters to look at statistics in all different ways, you can see what your hourly is at different venues, days of the week, Etc. Just a great app that works great

Thanks I will check it out. Yeah the one feature I definitely want is the ability to isolate and compare stats from different games/venues.

Googling the app, Twitter suggests it may be pulled from the app store, as they prepare to launch a new version.
A 2+2 thread suggests they're moving to a subscription model: https://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/27/casino-amp-cardroom-poker/rungood-ios-updates-1754216/

Oh no! Boo! Thank goodness my app still seems to work fine. Probably an indicator that I should back up the info though! Thanks for the heads up!

And I will get a subscription when HELL freezes over - just on principle, ridiculous for an amateur player to pay for what is basically a fancy spreadsheet with poker bells and whistles.

For what it’s worth, based on the recommendations, I got Poker Bankroll Tracker, and I think it’s great. It has everything I need and it’s free.

I love this app. I spend the extra $10/yr to get rid of ads. Small price to pay as thr developer is still working on updating stuff.

thanks! Man, this looks like the slickest of them all so far. I love the fact that the home page shows all of the upcoming events and tournaments at my local casinos. The Pro version is subscription which just irks me but I would do it if I am in love with the app. Its not easily identifiable what features require Pro.

@Payback or @Hornet i assume you can add private venues/games somehow? It’s not immediately obvious how to do it but I must be able to add specific home games as “a casino” maybe?

I use the same app, and went with the pro version to remove ads and whatever other features it added. It's great, it updates regularly and the developer is responsive to questions/feedback. The tough part is remembering to actually use it. You can add locations, see below.

$10 a year is reasonable and a good price point to support the app and get it ad free. Would have no problem paying that.

To add a new location, simply start a new session and click the location text box and select 'new location'

Thanks @CraigT78 @Hornet and @Payback it definitely looks like Poker Bankroll Tracker has a ton of features and I like the fact that there is a lot of support and tutorials for it as well. It doesn't seem like it was just thrown together. Its also the slickest looking as well. Going to start with this and upgrade to Pro if needed.

I’ve been using it for a couple of months now and am considering upgrading to the pro version just to eliminate the ads. I don’t think the other pro features are all that useful to me.

Is importing from a .csv only a pro feature? I have 2+ years of data in another tracker... I've been thinking of switching to this one, but I don't want to lose my data...

Could just sign up for one year and upload the data and then just let the Pro version expire for the following year.

Since the free version is pretty robust I am going to try it out for a bit and see what I think but I have been playing with it and it seems great. There is a lot of info, tutorials, and a manual on the webiste actually. Seems like a lot of support for this app...

Are you guys ever concerned that these people are sharing your data? I have Poker Bankroll Tracker and I haven’t done much with it cause I’m worried about my information being shared.

I wonder about that. They say they don’t, and if you don’t register supposedly your data is never backed up. That being said, who knows what they do? At the end of the day, I was fine using the app because I don’t think my info would be all that useful to anyone else anyway.

What data are you worried about being shared?

I feel like bankroll data can be tracked and sold. Not that it truly matters, but in the worst case scenario, your data could be tied to whatever information that you use to be identified. Obviously, the return would have to be worth it, but I’m extra paranoid when it comes to sharing my information via apps/sites. Especially free sites.
