Hi all, looking to buy some chips for shuffling/playing around with at my desk while playing online. From the research I've done so far, it looks like I could buy some Majestic or Royal samples from Apache. Was also considering buying a barrel of $25 Lady Luck (Paulson?).

Alternatively would the Horseshoe Southern Indiana chips be suitable in the Chip Room sale? Any difference between the different denominations for shuffling apart from aesthetics?

Cheers
Dan

Why not get yourself some free sample packs for evaluation? Top of the Poker Chip General thread.

I did see the sample pack thread, incredibly generous offer but I forgot to mention I’m in the UK. Think shipping from me and back to the US/Canada would be an issue.

I did once have a few Paulson casino de isthmus chips but can’t locate them. Have a feeling my wife binned them

Yes, as soon as I can prove it, I'll be starting divorce proceedings! In the mean time need to source some chips here in the UK to keep me busy at my desk while playing poker.

Hey Dan, welcome in! You best get the divorce cracking now, as it'll happen soon enough once the wife finds out how much you're going to spend around here.

I'm expecting my Paulsons to land with me next month. I'm down in Bournemouth, not sure where you are?
I may have 10-20 $1 chips that I'm parting with from a few different casino's. They are Paulson RHC's, near mint. I also have a barrel of Full Tilt Poker chips without labels. Shoot me a message if you fancy.

In terms of shuffling and different denominations, as long as the chips are the same make and mould there shouldn't be much different. The difference will be if there are a mixture of condition chips. Near mint Vs casino used would shuffle weirdly together IMO.
