Maybe card mold ceramics? I think those are around $0.30/ea and you'd get to customize the artwork. For $300 you could put together a wider cash set that could have fracs or more $25s and $100s (to give you the option of playing lower or higher stakes).

Excellent idea.

You can also use the existing designs other chippers have made available to use if designing your own set isnt you thing.

Cards mold is obviously a great option, as long as OP is willing to wait 3-6 months for his chips.

If you need chips immediately, Apache has a wide selection at under $0.50 per chip.

But I suspect you already know this (you're not a n00b here) and the reason you've posted is you're looking for a nice used set at a good price. Right? So c'mon guys, let's help him out. There's always somebody around here looking to get rid of their starter set after they've bought a bunch of Paulsons or custom CPCs.
 
It’s not a whole set, but I have some. Extra $1 majestics and 5¢ pharaohs that aren’t getting any use. I know you’re not looking for the 5 cents, but you could always relabel them for not much extra.
 
I know some may choke on it but I LOVE my mixed chipco ceramic casino used sets. I DEFF have some (sooo many 5s) that were from a Florida casino. Raddison aruba also comes to mind.... I just like the LOOK and feel of "casino" real. I love chipco ceramic in general. All my ceramic sets I own are 100% mixed casinos.... Also I dont see many chipco fracks often..... Would all racks of $1 and $5 work? Now that your here u can get bulk racks, and always add later.

I'd encourage you to explore the cards mold option noted. Best value prop that fits in your budget. Several free design options as well.

Within budget? Too easy. Just search ‘bulk Milano poker’ on eBay. 750 new chips any denomination you choose for under $300 delivered. A China clay dream come true. Nice!

Cards are a great option but not available straight away.

Other options suggested, whilst above the initial budget stated would properly be better options both in the short and long term. Who knows the may have a decent win at their next 1/1 game and splurge a little since they are looking for $2.5k in bank.

Really? The primary $1s were there a day or 2 ago when I suggested it on another thread.
 
These are some of my chipco $5s. I’ve never paid too much per rack of 100 prob like $50 MAX. It’s fully mixed but never once have I pulled this out and had anyone say anything other then “WOW those are awesome....” and again very affordable and 100% casino real which to me is VITAL in most cases.

I have an 800 piece milano set that I no longer need. PM me for details. I ended up completing a 1000 piece set in CC pharaohs, and a 1000 piece set HSI so the milanos are redundant.
