BCC similar to CPC assumption? (1 Viewer)

Yes… they are small round clay discs. Otherwise… no.

Not sure what your tolerance of similarity is. A chipper can certainly tell the difference. Some BCCs may be more like Paulsons than CPCs. But BCCs are not all built the same. There is some variation there in their chips.

Not at all, IMO.

While both clays are pretty light in feel and weight, BCC's clay is much harder relative to CPC's and makes a brighter "clack" when brought together, while Paulsons generate a more dull thud when brought together and shuffled.

In terms of clay softness, it's Paulson the softest, then CPC, then BCC.

Personally, I prefer the harder feel of BCC's clay to both leaded and unleaded Paulson and any CPC chip out there.
