BCC / Casino de Isthmus? (1 Viewer)

Hi there,

I am new to this forum and was wondering if anybody could provide some more info on these chips. I have a set of 300 Casino de Isthmus chips that I purchased probably around 10 years ago here in Vegas.

I anticipated this to be a heads up 1-2 or 2-5 NL set so the breakdown is 50 blue, 50 green, and 200 red.

Are these made by Blue Chip Company?

More importantly, the red birds seem to vary from each other, as in some are a brighter shade of red than the others. I tried to capture this in the photos. Is this a common issue to anybody that has some of these? Any info would be appreciated.

Yes, those are the BCC version. On the flame mold. Gorgeous chips, I have a set incoming myself

Yup, BCC! You could consider placing a Wanted ad in the Classifieds if you want to expand your holdings - there may be other members willing to sell.

Welcome ! As other have said, yes BCC. The color variance with these $5 chips (whether made by BCC or Paulson) is well known. Ill let someone with more knowledge than me discuss it.

Thanks for the replies. That’s pretty cool to know they’re BCC. They originally came in an oak case and have been sitting in my closet well protected. Some of my research led me to this site.

I believe I settled for these at the time because I did not want to fork over the cash for Paulsons. Ironically these never really got used. Again I appreciate the info!
