Is there any registration requirement beforehand? I'll actually be driving cross-country during that timeframe and may stop by Vegas.

I'm not sure until we get the official announcement. Most *arg events do have online registration for a small fee, typically $25 to cover expenses.

What are reindeer cash games? Thinking about coming up Thurs thru Sat.
"Reindeer" doesn't really mean anything unusual. Just a variety of cash tables offering different games.

If I drink the way I want to there, I would definitely have a red nose. And face. And liver.

From the Barge website:

"Although we do find that many of our members have backgrounds in technology, science and the law, we welcome and encourage people to join regardless of their professional backgrounds or poker accomplishments."

Not sure why that statement is necessary and what the purpose of putting it is. Maybe someone from Technology, Science or the Law could explain it to me

People from technology, science and law are just generally better human beings than people from other professions. But BARGE welcomes them because the world needs ditch diggers too.

Law? As someone who is currently embroiled in a lawsuit with a lawyer who's a real underhanded scumbag, I find that hard to believe. :cool
