The BARGE (Big August Rec.Gambling Excursion) 2016 gathering will be held August 1-6 at Binion's in downtown Las Vegas.

The massive schedule of events can be found at the BARGE Web site, http://www.barge.org/schedule. Yolu've gotta love the 26-game mix, and a win-the-button crazy pineapple event.

The tentative speaker for the Saturday night banquet is Daniel Negreanu; backup is Mike Sexton.

A few years ago I just happened to be at Binions when this was going on, I had never heard of it.. I learned a ton of new games and had a really great time with some really nice people. I really wish I could be out in Vegas for this, maybe work will need me to take another business trip.

Ooof...this happens at the same time as the Rumble in the Rockies, but I've got my eyes on the winter EMBARGO for January. That could be a real possibility.

Yeah, that's unfortunate. BARGE is almost always the first weekend in August.
