I recently traded for a set of Bahamia chips, but wasn’t able to get any $1’s.

So I contacted Gear about designing a label for some RHC Jack Casino $1’s I thought would work well with the set.

The blue (water) and yellow (sand/sun) spot fit the the feel of the set well. Plus with the casino being local and only having to spend $1/chip to get them is a big plus!

Chris sent me a couple ideas and I asked him to change the starfish to blue and it was done!

Here is the mock up. If anyone else has a set of Bahamia chips that is in need of $1’s and don’t mind using labeled chips contact @Gear

I’ll post more pics of the actual chips once the labels arrive and I get them on the chips.

Great idea & resourceful. Creative in the chip you chose and smart in picking out a creative label resource! ;)

Look great... wish there was a way to relabel the Giant Inlay, but this definitely works !!!

Agree, they fit in the set very well. Great work, and nice choice in chip/spot colors and pattern.

I've talked with Gear about cnc milling chips beyond the recess so they can take a giant-size label (perfect application for a set like this), but don't know if he has pursued it or done any experimentation.

Biggest downside is that the hat bottoms would be cut off (vs being under the label/inlay), but I think the trade-off might be worth it to get a better matching visual appearance, size-wise. Could always print the labels with faux hat bottoms on the edge, but what a pita to get those exactly lined up with every single label application.

The different size inlay/label doesn’t bother me at all. Casinos use different molds and inlay sizes. PCA and Aztar come to mind right away.

I like these with the Beach and Dolphin blues, but not so much with the Boys and Milleniums (which most of mine are).

They're definitely a good option in comparison with the ceramic Bahamia $1s.
