I got the checkers. They’re good but not great. I might remake the blue/orange. They include an extra with each order. 2 sleeves of 8.

My favorite colors are blue/orange, the gf likes lavenders and teals. This is how that request came out.

Looking good! Maybe light blue and dark blue, or a pastel green on your wife’s board. I like the red and white too!

Have analysis paralysis.

May have to get 2 boards made to solve the issue

Concept one:

Dark themed dark brown and butterscotch checkers. Or Black and butterscotch
Deep dark brown leather case?
Point possibilities:

B)

Second theme:

Lighter colors very light brown or black leather case.
Green and butterscotch. Or red and white checkers.

Loving option D) for the light board

These are leather color options

B is my favorite, with a dark brown case (252,253,266). D is nice too, with a lighter case (259? Red Orange). It really comes down to what you like! So many possibilities!

The numbers are blurry in the photo.

Well, here is my budget 21” 1.75” set. It came with the black and white checkers, which I don’t love, but I like the black and white points against the gray field.

Just bought exactly the same one, plus 7-8 different sets of checkers ... love the simple background and pips, that are then offset with some bright checkers

I just got my order and it seems that the quality control is sometimes a bit off ...

--> the white marbelized 1.75" checkers are about 10% slimmer than the rest
--> the yellow marbelized 1.75" checkers are about 10% thicker than the rest

Meaning they either barely fit the Wycliffe set or they are way too loose.

The rest (green, blue, red, purple, orange, amber) are ok, but as pointed out, not an exact fit to the checkers the set came with

Anyone know any good stores to get a tournament size board in Europe?

Well shoot. Just stumbled on this thread. I didn’t know this was something that I needed in my life.
This! LOL!

I came here because I just bought a Crisloid poker case and was wondering if others have them. I'm assuming based in the raving reviews the backgammon boards are getting the the cases are good quality. This one seems to be in really good condition, I'm told it is from the 1960s. I imagine my 70s vintage Dragonara Palace Malta LGKs will look pretty fine in this.

Now EASY boys. Don't everyone be filling my inbox with requests for the stunning chips! Those babies are all mine too!

EDIT: Off to a new home! :)

Hey backgammon people! I’m looking to grab a new board and wanting to see if there’s any interest in my current one. It’s a Wycliffe Brothers 21-inch Tournament - Masters Edition (Blue Case with Vanilla Field). Marbled blue and white 1.75” checkers.

Goes for $295, I’d sell this one for $175 shipped in the US. Like-new condition with a couple very minor (sub-1mm) imperfections you have to search for to find.

Well the new board came: 23” Wycliffe Brothers Prestige with nickel-trimmed 53-gram checkers. They’re absolute rocks and the “clack” they make when you stack em is music to my ears.

Kids have gotten into backgammon lately and the current cheepy set has drawing all over it from when my oldest was 3. Just ordered the same board, but in mustard backing. I can't wait to get it in and play with a nice set that doesn't look like it's been trashed. Bonus is my wife likes to play and it's something we can agree on playing.

Arrived today! This thing is gorgeous. Very heavy and large, but we figure this will serve is well into old age. Looking forward to playing some games with the Mrs. this evening.
