Baccarat tables (1 Viewer)

Thanks guys. I plan on making more and more custom legs. The legs were not hard to make but took a lot of time to get the detailed work completed. Lots of edges to clean up.

Per usual, looks awesome. Curious...what are the holes in the ply for? Is that just the template?

Thanks. They're holes to push up the playing surface when they need to change the felt.

Nice! Might have to stop by said local casino to see them in action :)

They didn't want any padding at the dealer area as that spot gets worn out quickly from the dealer's stomach from reaching across the table all the time. The dealer section pieces are rounded and made of corian.

I got to see these in person during construction, and they are absolutely massive. Great work, Tony!

Thanks Racer as well as thanks for the help with the first table. Here's some photos of the tables set up in the casino after they installed their extra equipment.

Congrats on the great work Tony. They look great in their new home. I'm curious as to how involved the casino was on the details, did the specify exact size and height they wanted? Who did the graphics for the felt? If it was you, how much of it was dictated by them?

Thanks Beaver. The casino was pretty specific about how they wanted their tables to look, but they left the design up to me to achieve that look. They did certainly tell me the size, shape and height they wanted. Although I do custom cloths, they provided their own felts and installed the felts themselves. Apparently they weren't aware that I print custom cloths.

Those are the best legs since Marilyn Monroe.

Great work, T.

True story... upon first seeing the photos, and before reading any replies such as Chris's (quoted above), my very first thought was, "Love the curvy legs!" :D

Great work Tony! Those legs look amazing. These tables will look right at home in a casino.

could not agree with this more. the tables are awesome, but the legs are the stone cold nuts. great work!

also heard good things about that casino, so hopefully you got to log some time playing.

Wow, you've heard about that casino from players on the east coast?

The poker room there used to be awesome, but has gone progressively downhill, sadly.

oh that's too bad. i was hearing about it maybe 8-12 months ago that it was a good place to play, but it's not a place that's frequently discussed, so i hadn't heard anything further. hopefully the poker room turns it around.

The first time I played there was in the early 2000's. To be fair, I have not played much at the local casinos at all. The poker room used to be in the main building, and got a lot of traffic. A few years back, the poker room was moved out of the main building, across the street into the secondary building nearer to one of the parking structures. You lose a lot of your fish that way.

After black friday, there was a migration of online players to Canada. With our close proximity to Vegas, it meant a lot of players came to Vancouver. The games just got tougher.

Comparatively, the games in Washington are generally much softer. They shut down online poker before black friday, so the players there started venturing occasionally to the casinos. The difference was that these generally weren't online pros, but the occasional player looking for a fix. Washington also has some strange rules at the different casinos (tribal vs state) when it comes to 'no-limit'.

If you're looking at places to go to play a lot of poker, I wouldn't suggest BC or Washington. If you're looking at places to go to experience things, while also having close proximity to casino poker, then absolutely come here.

Thanks guys. I quite like the legs, it took me a while to come up with a design I liked. I'm going to try to make more and more custom legs based off of this style. With my CNC I can create all sorts of different styles.
