PLASTIC HOSTAMPS CHIPS

Last thing:
I've got plastic tourney chips in quantity. They were used for regular low buy-in tourneys in the late 1990s/early 2000s, then were recycled for use at the ACF dealers' school :)
They were my first tourney chips ever :)

They're light (7.5 grams) hotstamped chips.
Not the best chips ever but you might want to build a huge MTT set for cheap.
There are two different series:
"Stripes" : stamps are quite used (totally used on denoms: 25/100/500/1000 - stamps ok on higher denoms)
"4 suits" : stamps are in better condition (2/3 of the 25/100/500 are very used, 1/3 are in good condition - all other denoms are GC to mint) - I won't cherry pick, everything will be packed randomly.

Price is $10/rack for the 4 suits and $7/rack for the stripes.
Shipping is always an issue (see below).

"4 suit" denoms (one side showing the value, one side with the ACF plane logo)
light blue 1
red 5
pink 10
green 25 (some with the plane logo on one side, some with "ACF" letters)
black 100
grey 500 gris
yellow 1000
white 5000
blue 10 000

"Stripes" denoms (one side showing the value, one side with the ACF letters logo)
turquoise 25 (color is better than pictured)
grey 100
orange 500 gris
black 1000
red OR purple 5000 (green are sold out)
white OR black (two different versions) 10 000

Shipping & payment
Not surprisingly, shipping costs to the USA are quite a PITA. Here's most common prices:
For a sample: $6
For a rack: $35
For a 400 or 500 chips set: $50

Payment via paypal "friends and family" or you pay the fees.

There are a few more pics in the gallery here.

Any questions, just ask :)

I am interested in one or two sets - I will PM this evening as I am very busy at work right now. Just didn't want to miss a chance at these.

I will be home after 8:00 PM EST and will send a message then. I am thinking about two 400 chip sets.

PM sent for a 400 chip ACF set, plus one of the steel medallions (buttons), and 10 of the 500 NCV chips. Please let me know how to pay, etc.

Tnx -- Larry

does 8.5 grams ceramics feel odd compared to Paulson's when shuffling?
Looks like slightly rounded edges.

Hard to describe. They're ceramic chips, definitely not paulson "clay chips".
Edges are sligthly rounded yes, but I'm pretty sure they were rounded even when they got out of the factory, it's not due to wear (otherwise there would see white traces of the ceramic behind the color). Chips have been used, though, there are slight color variations.

Anyone else have a mini-heart attack before opening this thread? :)

Yeah, I got a lot of messages! Sorry guys, there's really nothing I can do for you about the paulson sets. I personnally own a set but I don't have samples available - not even a single extra chip to sell :/

I would like a sample set plus a 500 chip and two of the 1 euro chips if you are selling those in singles. Three cut cards too. Ship to Canada.

Thanks.

So these are 9.5 grams after all? (originally listed at 8.5 grams). Please confirm.
If they are, I'm interested in a 500 piece tourney set.
Would also like one dealer/metal button. What's the diameter of it?
Thanks

So these are 9.5 grams after all?

Hybrid chips (ceramics with laminated label in a recessed center) are typically around 9.5g each, as opposed to 10g for ceramic solid blanks (with no missing material in the recess area).

Yes I corrected it. It's 9.4 or 9.5, diameter 39 mm
The medal's diameter is 55 mm
PM if you're interested ;)

They are Poly Inno chips aka hybrid chips by Sun-Fly

I have samples and prototypes. They're nice.

Thank you guys for the info. I couldn't tell who was the manufacturer. Science just made a huge step forward :))

Don't feel bad -- I was here, but missed delivery while I was at the courts playing tennis. :(

See you at the post office tomorrow?

Same here -- picked mine up today as well. But now I feel like a piker, since Mark ordered two sets.

Oh, well -- I'll just buy his next year, when he gets tired of them.

They are beauties!
