Hi guys,

So I know the Atlantic City chips remain face value after casino closes , right ?? I was wondering about some Hilton Atlantic City chips and saw on the chip guide that they never opened, but the chips were used at Trump tower for a few months. Hilton never got a gaming license . So are those chips still at face value ??

I also checked out Playboy AC on chip guide and they were never granted a gaming license, so are those chips face value ??? I would think not .

The old rule was one issued, always redeemable. The playboy hoard changed the rules somewhat. I think that someone at the chip board could tell you what’s redeemable and what’s not.

My understanding is that, while all outstanding chips are still redeemable, you can't do this at the casino. You have to go, in person the the NJ gaming authority, and sign a document that says, basically, that these were not from the playboy hoard or by buying a chip from eBay and that you obtained all of these chips through your own play and the dates you were at the casino.
